My mother HATED them. And my grandmother called me up asking me why I was wearing bed slippers. I shrugged all that off and decided I would hold my ground.
My mother isn't a pushy lady by any means but she knows how to make her opinion known and I few days ago received an email with a picture of shoes she saw at Macy's, I really didn't love the picture on their website but the store is walking distance from my apartment so I figured I'd humor her by heading over there to sneak a peak at what she obviously believed was a better choice for me.

About a year ago, I had thought I might wear a cute pair of Rocket Dogs. You can read about that here. The shoes s at Macy's were also Rocket Dogs and when I saw them in person, I fell in love. So cute! Mom always knows best. And it's even better when they only cost $35!
So, once again I have my shoes! And my girls do too. That's another story with a little bit of drama but it all worked out and I'm hoping everyone is happy now!
This weekend is my NY bacholorette weekend! I don't know what we're doing but I'm flying there tonight! Very exciting. I also have my first dress fitting tomorrow. Good thing I've got the shoes!
Only 51 days to go!! AHH!

I love Rocketdog flats: so comfy! I liked your original flats too, but I do think I like the Rocketdog ones better: and the bottoms will make an adorable picture!!

I love those red flats, and you are right the best part is the soles with the hearts!! I also have those old navy ones in black and I love them too..they are so darn comfy!! Glad mom came through for you..moms always know best!!
